Life Long Wellness

 

 

What did you learn about life long wellness from taking this class?

 

            I have learned that keeping my mind, body and spirit is essential toward achieving peace and a healthy/positive outlook on life and my body.  I have taken yoga at other places and was glad that I had a chance to actually go slow and get the proper technique and exercise that will benefit my body. 

 

How long will you apply this information in your life?

                                                                       

            I am in the Fit Tech program, so I am hoping to apply the techniques of adequate breathing and stretching that I have learned in yoga to help myself and others when it comes to stretching and bettering your body and achieving optimal health.

 

What is your intention to continue to exercise in your life and why?

 

            One of my goals is to become yoga certified.  I have enjoyed learning the different ways you can move your body in a pose or the modified version and listen close to my body to take it easy and ease into the stretch.

 

What did you enjoy most about this class?

 

            I enjoyed savasana at the beginning and the end of class.  Learning to get centered in my breathing and mind is a great way to start the exercise or end it.
